Big Brother Nigeria Housemates Maureen & Gideon Still Intact

Despite the fact that Joe declared that he still liked Maureen in his post eviction interview with Olisa, Maureen in her post BBN interview on Tuesday (June 6) told us that she has no regret leaving Joe and that her relationship with Gideon is still intact but that it is at a re- familiarisation stage. “Gideon is fine. We are trying to know ourselves…”

She also said that winning the ultimate prize (coming first in the first ever BBN) would have helped her a lot, but that she also has plans with high prospects and potentials in the pipeline.

On this premise, she has decided not to rest on her laurels but to intensify efforts to enhance and maintain the stardom. The 23 year-old Aries has just finished a Nollywood movie titled Dear God where she which she had a key supporting role. The lady with the sunny and infectious smile told us that she played the role of a villain in the movie.

The new kid on the Nollywood block still savours the Big Brother Nigeria experience, claiming that it was a fantastic experience, which has opened many great doors for her. The Psychology graduate gave kudos to ‘Nollywooders,’ saying she now appreciates them having been exposed to the dynamics of the Nigerian movie industry, where practitioners bring something out of nothing. “Now I’ve been able to see how they improvise and manage their little resources…”

It was also revealed that the fourteen former BBN Housemates will be working together on a charity project to help the orphans and physically and mentally disabled children in Nigeria.

Maureen said she will take one thing after the other, as a way of managing her new celebrity status with its attendant stardom.

For the youths across Africa, she advised that: “They should not procrastinate but should go after their dreams.” And for those who might find themselves in the Big Brother Nigeria House in future, she said: “They should have enough fun, so that they don’t regret anything.”

When Maureen goes back to school in future, she said she will love to further her studies in the field of Public Relations rather than Psychology. Also, one of her immediate future plans is to go into Public Relations practice.
